South Asian Theater in
Silicon Valley Exhibit

Katha Munch is honored to be part of such a meaningful gathering celebrating South Asian storytelling, theatre, and cultural memory in Silicon Valley and featuring a few of the many entities and individuals part of the creative movement this side.

South Asian Thespians in Conversation was a powerful reminder that the Bay Area is not only a hub for technology and innovation, but also home to a thriving and evolving creative movement. From archival exhibits preserving South Asian histories in the Valley to thoughtful conversations and performances by artists across generations, the evening beautifully highlighted the importance of documenting and amplifying our narratives.

A huge shoutout to Mantra Roy , Chandni Rathod, the San José State University team, and the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Library team for creating this important platform and initiative around South Asians in Silicon Valley. Events like these remind us how essential art, archives, and community spaces are in shaping cultural legacy and representation.
