BEYOND THE STAGE | OCTOBER 24, 2026
Stories That Bring Us Together. Experiences That Bring Us Closer.
Katha Munch took the stage at the Lesher Center for the Arts in Walnut Creek with Have You Seen the Sharmas?—our original English-language thriller-dramedy exploring relationships, identity, family expectations, and the evolving dynamics of modern South Asian relationships.
But the experience didn’t end with the final scene.
Our Katha Munch Social Hour brought people together through theatre games, improvisation, laughter, and spontaneous creativity. What unfolded was a reminder that theatre isn’t just something we watch. It’s something we can experience, participate in, and share.
From thought-provoking storytelling to an engaging, interactive community experience, October 24 was another step in our journey to make South Asian stories accessible, relatable, and relevant to wider audiences.
At Katha Munch, we don’t just tell stories. We create spaces for people to connect through them.
